John Bisceglie (Creative Director/Producer) Since 1985, John Bisceglie has created, directed and choreographed hundreds of community, commercial, and professional productions featuring actors of all ages. For nine years, John held the title of Artistic Director for San Jose Parks and Recreation’s Young People’s Theater, and has also served Gilroy’s Community Services Department in a similar capacity for the past 19 years (39 productions). John has directed and produced several original productions for Christopher Ranch, Hoey Ranch, The American Musical Theater of San Jose, Bella Mia Restaurant, and the Victory Theater. In 2009, he directed and produced the “SF Follies” in San Francisco’s Union Square Theater District which ran for 13 weeks at the Actors Theatre in Union Square. The show received four Bay Area Critics Circle awards including Best Musical, Best Director, Best Choreographer and Best Ensemble (out of 400 Bay Area shows reviewed in 2009). Most recently, John directed and produced “Forever Broadway” at the Herbst Theater in San Francisco with a cast of 80 adults. John is thrilled to return to Gilroy this November to direct and produce “Big Band Bash” a 1940’s musical revue at Wheeler Gym.

Hollyann Fargher (Production Assistant) has been working with John Bisceglie for the past 12 years, assisting with the production of 24 of his shows at the Gilroy Community Services Department for the Children’s Theater Group. Hollyann most recently held the title of Production Assistant for Bisceglie’s “Fabulous Frosted Follies”. During the past years with John Bisceglie Presents, Hollyann has held many different roles including backstage manager, light board operator, spotlight operator, set and prop construction assistant, costume seamstress, and for the last seven years has taken the role as Co-Producer/ Production Assistant. Hollyann is proud of her son, Josh, who has been assisting John in the past four productions as choreographer and is going on to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in July. Her husband, Lou, helps bring John’s dream sets to life, is the master carpenter along with his assistant, Chris Dolph. When Hollyann is not busy with these productions, she enjoys spending time with her granddaughters Haley and McKenzie as well as the rest of her family.

Kayvon Kordestani-Thompson (Choreographer) a graduate of the University of the Pacific where she earned a triple-teaching credential in Music, English, and Elementary Education. Kayvon has performed, choreographed, directed and vocal directed over 60 shows for various local theater groups. Kayvon served as the Artistic Manager for Children’s Musical Theater San Jose (CMTSJ) and also studied at the Theatre Artist Institute of San Jose. Kayvon began her association with John Bisceglie in 1992 and has choreographed over 20 projects for him, most recently “Forever Broadway” at the Herbst Theater in San Francisco with a cast of 80 adults. In 2009, Kayvon choreographed Bisceglie’s “SF Follies”, winning her a Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle award for Best Choreography. Currently, Kayvon teaches Kindergarten at Sartorette Elementary School in the Cambrian School District.

Josh Fargher (Choreographer) is a graduate from Gilroy High School and has performed in 25 productions with John Bisceglie Presents for the past 12 years. Josh has taken on many different actor/singer/dancer roles, while also assisting John with costume design, set detailing, prop construction, and choreography. Josh choreographed and performed in John’s most recent San Francisco Production, “Forever Broadway” at the Herbst Theater. Josh will be attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising this year in San Francisco, majoring in Visual Communication. Josh would like to thank John for all the experience he has gained from the years of performing and choreographing for his productions. Josh believes with this experience, it has helped him to reach his goals. Josh would also like to thank Emily for assisting him in choreographing and his family for all their support.

Emily Dolph (Assistant Choreographer) is a 17 year old graduate from Gilroy High School, and is an incoming freshman at San Francisco State University, where she plans on studying dance professionally. She has participated in 12 of John Bisceglie productions over the past 6 years. Emily has been honored to make these shows everything they can be by helping with the choreography alongside good friend Josh Fargher. Emily one day hopes to become a pediatric nurse and help give back to her community. As Emily’s journey with Gilroy Community services and John Bisceglie comes to a close (for a while), she would like to thank everyone who has helped her pursue her dreams. She would like to give a special thanks to John for always challenging her to be a better performer, Josh for being the best partner in crime, and her parents for continually supporting her in everything she chooses to do, she couldn’t do it without them.
